GULABIN LODGE, Spittal of Glenshee

Gulabin Lodge offers self-catering accommodations for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Gulabin House is available for exclusive group use, accommodating 12 people in five bedrooms. One double room includes a shared bathroom, a carpeted floor, heating, and a patio with one bed on the mezzanine. One first-floor room features a double bed, central heating, and a wash basin. A bunk bed provides two additional berths for an extra fee. Another first-floor room has a king-size double bed, central heating, and a wash basin. One first-floor room includes central heating and a wash basin. The twin room has a shared bathroom, a carpeted floor, heating, and a patio, with two beds on the mezzanine. Some rooms are on the ground floor with mezzanines, accessed by ladders, and others are on the first floor. All rooms, except one, have wash basins. Shared shower and toilet facilities are available.

The dining room provides seating and views of Gulabin's grounds with the hills. A shared kitchen and outdoor kitchen are available. Guests can purchase seasoned wood on-site to light a fire. A raised terrace is accessible for drinks.

Gulabin Lodge Outdoor Centre is suitable for adventures. Guests can use the accommodation as a base for touring or take advantage of outdoor activities offered by the Centre. Activities in the area include rock climbing/abseiling, archery, and an aerial runway. Glenshee chairlift gives access to the high mountains. The lodge is close to the Glenshee ski slopes. Many Munros are accessible from the Centre. The Cateran Trail is a short drive away. Kayakers and canoeists can explore rivers. There is on-site ski and board hire.

Gulabin Lodge is in the Spittal of Glenshee at the foot of Ben Gulabin, 60 km from Dundee, in the southern Cairngorms National Park, with views of the Glenshee mountains. The property is located on 1.5 acres of grounds.

Gulabin Lodge features log fires in communal lounge areas with original stone walls and beamed ceilings. Underfloor heating is throughout. Dogs are welcome by arrangement for a fee of £3 per night. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times within the Lodge grounds. Free Wi-Fi is available in rooms. Amenities include garden furniture and cookware/kitchen utensils.
